Our Purpose
Living Hope Missions is a ministry of Living Hope Church Camperdown that exists to build trusting and supportive relationships with individuals in disadvantaged communities, those experiencing homelessness or domestic violence survivors. Our support extends to the whole community regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion or gender.
We partner with support and advocacy networks to promote social interaction and community engagement, empowering people to grow personally, belong in the community, and contribute positively to society.
About Us
Living Hope Missions started in June 2019 with the goal of providing practical support through 100% free food assistance to families and individuals in our local community. Over the last six years, we have increased our impact and footprint across regional New South Wales, while continuing to serve our local community. Up until August 2026, we distributed 6 tonnes of food to over 2000 individuals weekly.
Just recently, our focus has changed, although we no longer run the food pantry as we used to, we continue to support people experiencing homelessness and domestic violence survivors with emergency hampers, clothes and pastoral care.

People Experiencing homelessness
Each week we drop off food to 40 people experiencing homelessness in various parts of Sydney CBD and Pyrmont.

Café
9AM-12PM, each Tuesday Kirk – our CQ Café barista makes FREE barista coffee. This is a great opportunity to hang out, share time in a relaxed atmosphere with music and smiles. If you are not big on coffee we also have tea, chai and hot chocolate.

Community Hubs
Community Hubs are vibrant spaces that serve as gathering places for people, designed to foster skills, social connections, and participation in community life. These hubs promote a sense of belonging and support our aim of holistic community development. Activities include knitting for ‘Wrap with Love’ charity, art-making, and more.

Clothes by appointment
For anyone needing a new beginning and through the support of Thread Together, we can organise sourcing brand-new clothes for individuals in need – by appointment only.
Advocacy and other support services:
With our commitment to our mission, we continue expanding our impact in the community. We currently offer:
DV referral programs, emergency packs and brand new clothing through our partners Thread Together and Good360.
Free hygiene packs, blankets and sleeping bags for those experiencing homelessness.
